What's coming
The work in
progress.
PhilosophyTheGuide is built one piece at a time. Here is what is live, what is next, and what is further down the road.
Roadmap
Three phases.
- Live now
Branch hubs, beginner guides and the first three tools
- Next up
Thinker profiles, schools of thought and a full timeline
- Later
Eastern traditions, primary-text companions and course packs for teachers
Tools in progress
Two tools next in the queue.
Two philosophers side by side on one question.
A reading order matched to your level and time.
What is planned
Coming in more detail.
Thinker profiles
A page for each major philosopher: life, key ideas, the one argument you should know, and the strongest objection. Starting with Aristotle, Kant, Hume, Wittgenstein, and de Beauvoir.
Full thinker timeline
An interactive timeline covering ancient Greece to the present, filterable by branch and tradition. Each bar links to the thinker's profile.
Schools of thought
A hub for each major tradition — Stoicism, Utilitarianism, Kantian ethics, Existentialism, Analytic philosophy — showing key thinkers, central claims and how they relate.
Eastern traditions
Guides covering Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, and Indian philosophy. Philosophy did not start in Greece — this section corrects that gap.
Course packs for teachers
Printable discussion guides, reading orders and question sets aligned to secondary and introductory university curricula. Free, always.
Primary-text companions
Plain-language companions to key primary texts — the Republic, the Critique of Pure Reason, Being and Time — so you can read the original without getting lost.
